Road Trips

Whenever people start a road trip, they must get the necessary items for such an endeavor. For example, people need a destination or location. They must know what they want to do (or at least a guideline), and must make plans. After that process, the parties involved need a timeline- how long will this adventure take? Oh! I even forgot the step of carefully choosing who is involved, that is important.... Ya does this process sound familier?
To go on any long trip or adventure in life, you must first put yourself in certain vulnerabilities. Who you take on this trip with you will make or break it. You have to pick your person wisely...they must be awesome to talk to, there is a lot of talking involved in road trips. You must pick a person with a sense of humor, someone who enjoys similar music, someone who doesn't snore...no one wants someone who snores in their car for a long period of time, and someone who cares.
By finally picking this person, you then go on to what you want out of the road trip, which can be scary if one person wants to go to California and one person wants to go to Florida. When you have finally decided on a destination, you iron out all of the little plans, and move forward.
Obviously you cant drive the whole way by yourself, the other person must take the wheel...which if you haven't had alot of people drive your car, its a scary experience. By making this other person drive, you are putting your beloved car of choice (little red corvette for me remember??) and yourself in dangers way if they aren't careful.
How can we trust another person so much to put our cars and our safety in their hands? That my friends, is a grand question. Its obviously not a good feeling at first, but if they surprise you and can be a great driver its a whole new experience to sit in the passenger seat. On the other hand there is the whole death thing that could happen if you take that chance that they aren't...

What is your choice?
to trust? or not to trust?
